Nowadays, most mothers have plans to ask for confinement care, and have a good helper after giving birth.
But not everyone can get a satisfactory confinement confinement, how can I get a good confinement? In the past ten years or so, some have signed the contract within 15 minutes, and some have seen 10 and 8 before deciding. I would like to share the precautions for confinement.
There is no such thing as the best confinement, only the most suitable one for you.
So the first step, you have to figure out what you want.
- How long do you want to work with confinement a day? (usually 8 hours or 24 hours overnight stay, the candidates for the two are different)
- How long do you plan to sit for confinement
- Confinement budget (consider the labor for confinement and the money to buy food separately)
Secondly, mother should think about what do you value most during confinement?
A confinement caregiver basically has the skills to take care of mommy and BB, but each has its own characteristics and specialties.
For example, many mothers attach great importance to the confinement diet, so you need to find a confinement confinement who is good at cooking and can change different dishes. Some moms may not care much about eclipse and hope to focus on taking care of BB with the confinement.
First set two or three characteristics that you think are the most important. It will be more efficient to communicate with the agent or choose a confinement care provider. Do not choose people based on feeling alone, and avoid gaps between expectations and reality.
Nothing is more direct than face-to-face communication with confinement caregivers (most interviews are free of charge, and Mommy can rest assured).
In the interview, in addition to asking what dishes the confinement will cook and the work flow of the day, you can also ask more specific questions to test the professionalism of the confinement:
- How should BB encounter jaundice?
- I want to breastfeed, how can you help me?
- I have been very cold before giving birth, what should I do during confinement?
In addition, you can ask situational questions to test the resilience of confinement. One of my unforgettable mothers asked: "My master insists that BB's head must be flat. He said that BB's with flat heads are lucky. But I don't want BB's. Your head is flat, what will you do?"
Please confinement is sometimes like a blind date, don't be afraid to communicate your expectations clearly at the beginning, a good confinement will be your best teammate when confinement, communication is very important.
Although the cost of confinement is linked to her seniority, a mother with a limited budget need not worry about not being able to get a good confinement.
In my opinion, being approachable and having enthusiasm is actually more important.
It is good to have experience, but it does not mean that seniority must do well.
When encountering some experienced confinement caregivers, they will "rely on the old and sell the old" and stick to their own opinions.
Sometimes there are new people (meaning about one year of experience) who are full of enthusiasm for the industry and don't care about work. It is really worth giving opportunities.
After confirming the employment of confinement, no matter whether you choose company or personal confinement, please be sure to sign a contract.
The protection of a paper contract is greater than you think. The contract should specify the probation period, liquidated damages, holiday arrangements, etc.
And when there is an emergency, such as a sudden illness during the confinement, the mother's delivery date is earlier, and what are the contingency measures at that time, it should be included in the discussion.
Finally, I remind Mommy that she usually only pays part of the deposit when signing the contract, and only pays the remainder when the completion of the contract is completed, so as to avoid the loss of money and money when the confinement person temporarily resigns.
